OCSA will keep an updated list of Volunteer Needs. Anyone who can help in a small or large way is appreciated. With the spring soccer season well underway, OCSA is reaching out to the soccer community for volunteers to help with any of the current needs of the organization. Any amount of time or effort would be appreciated and the players and their families will benefit as a whole as well as the community. Please take a look at the current list of needs/jobs with points of contact and see how you can help!

Della Futral is hard on herself. The freshman just doesn’t believe she’s been that much of a standout soccer player for White Oak... Futral credited playing club soccer for the Onslow Classic Soccer Association for why she seems to be a natural at forward, a spot that has produced several all-state players in recent years for the Vikings. >>> CLICK HERE -April 22, 2011 (jdnews.com)
April 22, 2011 - The original intent for this letter seems insignificant in light of the recent tornados. The damage and devastation across our State is unbelievable. Driving down Piney Green Rd and seeing the destruction up close and personal is emotional. To think of the families and all they have lost. It made me proud to be from this area when I saw all the volunteers and neighbors helping out any way they could. I’m sure the same thing is going on at Tarawa Terrace. I would like our soccer community to know they can help with the clean up or by donating money and non-perishables. OCSA will be collecting money all this week and next to donate to the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army and local churches are also accepting donations. Any amount will add up and help those in need. It will teach our kids the value of giving back to the community and helping our neighbors. The donations can be collected by the manager, coach, or dropped off at the office directly. Our club has already donated concession stand items to help hydrate and feed victims and volunteers. As we continually see news stories about disasters around the world, let’s not forget our friends and neighbors in our own backyard.
