Hello,

I apologize for the delayed game recap this week! I just wanted to send a quick email to discuss our last game. For those who were unable to come, we unfortunately did not win. However, it happens and helps us to realize ways that we can improve. Although we did not play badly, I still do not think that we played as well as I know we can!

Our communication skills could still use some work. I began playing volleyball at the same age as you all and every single coach I have ever had has repeatedly beat into my teammates and I the importance of talking to each other on the court. Calling the ball and working together leads to success in volleyball. Not doing so will lead to balls landing on the floor time and time again. Tell yourself that you want the ball and hope that it comes to you every single time!

Like I said, we did not play badly and there were definitely things that we did well on. We are having practice at our normal time of 8pm on Friday (3/14) so come ready to play! Also, our next game is scheduled for this Sunday (3/16) at 2:30 at our normal gym, the NorthWEST YMCA. Have a good week and I will see you all Friday!
