OCSA ALUMNI GRADUATES UNC-CHAPEL HILL WITH HONORS

Patrick Healy graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with Honors and Highest Distinction on May 9, 2010.  Patrick played for the original Coastal Crew before OCSA existed.  He continued his youth career with OCSA playing for both the 86 and 87 Crew making several appearances in the state final four including a state final.  He also played four consecutive years varsity soccer at White Oak High School, helping them win the state championship in 2004.  Patrick graduated with two majors in Biostatisics and Biology and two minors in Mathematics and Chemistry.  Although he opted for academics over playing collegiate soccer, he has continued his passion for soccer playing on two intramural teams through throughout his four years of college.  Patrick will depart in June for the University of Michigan where he has been accepted to their Doctorate program, with additional classes to complete his Masters, which he has already satisfied many requirements. Patrick hopes to return to North Carolina and work at the new cancer research center at UNC.
