OCSA History
Onslow Classic Soccer Association (OCSA) was formed in 2003 by soccer enthusiasts wanting to provide a structured, organized, and competitive soccer experience to youth in Onslow County and surrounding areas. Since its beginning OCSA's goal has been to utilize the area youth soccer organizations to help develop players at the recreational level. Once players are developmentally ready, it is OCSA's hope that coaches and parents will encourage players to tryout for a Classic level team so as to be challenged at the highest levels of competitive soccer.

OCSA is sanctioned by North Carolina Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA) and the United Sates Youth Soccer Association (USYSA). We are a non-profit organization led by an elected board of directors, full time Director of Coaching, Staff Coaches, and an office administrator. Our coaching and training staff is made up of a strong group of coaching professionals many of whom played at the college level or higher. Numerous OCSA coaches are involved in the local school systems or have a strong background in dealing with youth players. Some staff credentials include nationally licensed coaches through USSF and NSCAA. OCSA routinely encourages and helps fund our coaching staff's quest for continuing coaching education.

OCSA is committed to the growth of soccer in our community through the development of its players and continues to provide a positive, fun-filled environment for young players to learn, play and compete in the world's most popular game. Over the years OCSA has sent more than 60 players to take their skills, knowledge, and love of the game to compete at the college level. OCSA has had 8 teams compete at the NCYSA Premier level while numerous others have excelled in 1st Division. Our 1990 Girls team competed in the USYSA Region III Premier League and won the 2008 US Club Soccer National Championship!!!

With its qualified staff, proven success, and commitment to develop well-rounded players and individuals, OCSA has positioned itself as the top choice for youth soccer in Eastern North Carolina.
