The OCSA Jr. Academy Program provides the developmental bridge
between recreational/challenge soccer and competitive soccer.
July 21, 2010 - Dear OCSA Families: I am writing to inform you of an exciting transition in our Youth Academy. Our Academy program is now FREE, thanks in part to sponsorship and a commitment by OCSA to our youth development. The families will still pay for uniforms, tournaments and team dues. But the club dues and coaches fees are FREE. The Academy focuses on player development and not wins and losses. It is vital for OCSA to develop our players at an early age to teach proper technique and training habits. The players are encouraged to be creative, have fun, and discover the game of soccer guided by our staff. The Academy staff follows a player development curriculum designed to maximize player potential and enjoyment. The same licensed, experienced, professional staff working with our classic programs will work with the Academy program, so the players experience the best OCSA has to offer. The Academy trains two nights a week and plays other Academy team on the weekends. Any questions or concerns can be directed to the email or phone number below. REGISTRATION is open for Fall 2011! Registration is FREE for the spring season. OCSA Jr. Academy Program is the premier youth developmental program for U8-U10 players in the Jacksonville Area. Our program is designed specifically for those recreational players who desire advanced training from the OCSA professional staff.
Uniforms
Uniforms will be purchased directly from Eurosport on the OCSA website and are not included in the registration fee. More details will be available soon. We cannot guarantee that all sizes will be available at time of purchase.

OCSA Jr. Academy Details:
OCSA Jr. Academy Program is the premier youth developmental program for U8-U10 players in the Jacksonville Area. OCSA Jr. Academy is specifically designed for those players who desire advanced training from a professional staff. The Jr. Academy Program will emphasize the development of players technically (skills), tactically (decision-making), physically (fitness) and psychologically (mental toughness). The development of individual players in these facets of the game will better prepare the players for the next level of classic soccer. The OCSA Jr. Academy is appropriate for motivated soccer players from U8-U10.

OCSA Jr. Academy Provides:
- Program offered at different locations (Tabernacle Soccer Complex, Southwest Soccer Complex, Northwoods Middle School, and other locations to TBD)
- Emphasizes on the development of complete players

- OCSA offers the best and most experienced coaching staff in the Jacksonville Area. Our coaches are nationally licensed and have coached at every level including the state, regional and national team levels.

Academy players participate in 1-2 tournaments throughout the year. Listed below are respective tournaments that the Jr. Academy has participated in the past.

The goal of the OCSA Jr. Academy system is early development of players. We implemented this program to provide families with convenient access to professional training in the Jacksonville Area.
The OCSA Jr. Academy program is committed to player development on and off the field. We not only focus on soccer skills and knowledge of the game, but we emphasize self esteem and emotional well-being.
