The Onslow Classic Soccer Association (Coastal Crew) was established in 2003. OCSA is a not for profit organization. OCSA was established for the specific purpose of developing a competitive youth soccer program whose goals are to play and compete at the highest level in the state and regionally, as well as developing players capable of receiving college scholarships based on their playing ability and academic achievement. However, realization of these goals must be accomplished within the proper framework by instilling character, self-esteem, confidence, and sportsmanship within the youth athlete. OCSA and the coaching staff strive to attract players and parents with these common interests:
1. Promoting the game of soccer.
2. Creating an environment in which players can reach their full potential and achieve the self-confidence and positive self-esteem necessary to be successful both on and off the soccer field.
3. Developing individual skills and team tactics to enable players and/or teams to compete at the state, regional, and national level.
4. Assisting college bound players in obtaining scholarships.
Achievement of these lofty and worthwhile objectives within the appropriate environment can only be reached through the involvement of sponsors and partners throughout our community.

OCSA Soccer Complex:
- Tabernacle Soccer Complex is located at 2221 Belgrade- Swansboro Rd. Maysville, NC just north of Jacksonville.
- All 370 players will practice at the OCSA Soccer Complex between 2-3 times per week.
- During season play OCSA host 10 state wide play dates. On each of these dates over 512 players from across the state will visit our complex. Including players, coaches and spectators, over 1,000 soccer fans will participate in activities on these play dates at the OCSA Soccer Complex.
- The Matt Helms Memorial Shootout Soccer Tournament, our summer event, host over 65 teams during the weekend event. This equates to over 1,024 players, over 2,000 players, coaches and spectators. Plans are to expand this tournament to around 95 teams for 2009. This tournament is in honor of Matt Helms, a former player of OCSA.
- The NCYSA State Cup event, one of our spring events, hosted over 44 teams from across the state during this weekend event. This equates to over 702 players, over 1500 players, coaches and spectators at the OCSA Soccer Complex.
- Local High School Jamboree girls and boys including 6-8 High School soccer teams during the summer and spring season.
- College Showcase Event which previously included Wilmington Hammerheads, Elon, UNCW, and Mt. Olive College during the spring season. Including players, coaches and spectators over 1020 soccer fans attend this event annually.
- Future plans are to host additional tournament event, showcase events and more exhibition games at the OCSA Soccer Complex.
